At Young Explorers, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds on our digital products and in-person programs.

Digital Products (Little Scientists Activity Pack)

Refund Eligibility

Due to the nature of digital products, we offer refunds under the following conditions:

  • Technical Issues: If you are unable to download or access your purchased content due to technical issues on our end, we will provide a full refund or alternative delivery method.
  • Duplicate Purchase: If you accidentally purchased the same product twice, we will refund the duplicate purchase.
  • Non-Delivery: If you do not receive your download link within 24 hours of payment and we are unable to resolve the issue, you are eligible for a full refund.

Non-Refundable Situations

  • Change of mind after download or access has been provided
  • Inability to use the product due to user's technical limitations (e.g., incompatible devices, no PDF reader)
  • Dissatisfaction with content style or approach (we recommend reviewing product descriptions carefully before purchase)
  • Purchase made by mistake by minors without parental authorization

Refund Timeline

  • Refund requests must be made within 7 days of purchase
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method

In-Person Programs (Junior Makers, Robotics, AI Pioneers)

Free Trial Classes

We offer one FREE trial class for all in-person programs. This allows you and your child to experience our teaching style before making a commitment. No payment is required for trial classes.

Monthly Fee Refunds

  • Before First Class: Full refund if you cancel before attending the first paid class of the month
  • Within First Week: 75% refund if you withdraw within the first week of the month
  • After First Week: No refunds for the current month; future months will not be charged if you withdraw

Kit Fees (Robotics Programs)

Kit fees (e.g., Arduino kit for Robotics Fundamentals) are:

  • Non-refundable once the kit has been provided to the student
  • Refundable if you cancel before the kit is handed over
  • The kit belongs to the student and can be taken home

Missed Classes

  • Missed classes due to personal reasons are not refundable or reschedulable
  • If we cancel a class (e.g., instructor illness, holidays), we will provide a makeup class or pro-rata credit
  • In case of extended absences (2+ weeks), please contact us to discuss options

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  2. Provide Details: Include your name, order/enrollment ID, reason for refund, and any supporting information
  3. Wait for Confirmation: We will review your request and respond within 2-3 business days
  4. Receive Refund: If approved, the refund will be processed within 5-7 business days

Exceptions and Special Circumstances

We understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. We will consider refund requests outside the standard policy on a case-by-case basis for:

  • Medical emergencies (with documentation)
  • Family emergencies
  • Relocation to a different city
  • Other extraordinary circumstances

Cancellation by Young Explorers

In rare cases, we may need to cancel programs due to:

  • Insufficient enrollment (minimum batch size not met)
  • Instructor unavailability
  • Force majeure events

In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative batch/program.
